Frank Greminger, longtime Agoura High football coach, was rushed to a hospital in Westlake Village on Thursday afternoon after complaining of chest pains, Charger Athletic Director John Crow said.

Crow said Greminger, who has no history of heart trouble, had complained of chest pain for two days. Crow did not know Greminger’s status as of late Thursday night.

Greminger, 54, missed the Chargers’ nonleague game against Santa Barbara, a 19-14 loss for Agoura.

Charlie Wegher, the Chargers’ secondary coach, coached Agoura in Greminger’s absence.

“We don’t know how serious it is and if he will miss any more games,” Wegher said. “We just know he is having some tests done.”

Greminger recently celebrated his 150th win. In 24 seasons, Greminger is 150-95-3.
