Points leader Boucher led the 15-lap Pony main from wire to wire. Vying to win the first-ever Pony stock points championship at Ventura, he holds a 120-point lead over Camarillo’s Mira Cook with three racing days remaining at Ventura.

His father, Gene, also recorded a Mini Stock heat race win.

Hansen, who has dominated the Dwarf series at Ventura this season, also led from wire to wire. Hansen notched the Dwarf trophy dash as well as a heat race.

Paul Moore and Gary Swenson each recorded two wins as well.

Moore continues to make an impact on the IMCA modified scene. The veteran Street Stock driver won the 15-lap IMCA main event. For Moore, it was the second main win of his rookie IMCA campaign, the first coming in mid-August.

Swenson won the 20-lap Mini Stock main event, though the Ventura driver still trails points leader Gary Hubert. Swenson also won the trophy dash.

Santa Barbara driver James Weston held off a late charge from Moore to win the 20-lap Street Stock main.

Weston remains in second place behind Moore.

Sun Valley’s Jake Nocero won the Street Stock trophy dash.

Santa Barbara driver James Weston and Hawthorne’s Ron Bartels won Street Stock heat races.
