Glendale 27, Burroughs 21--Junior receiver James Fuller caught a 47-yard desperation pass from Ramon Jose with five seconds to play to give the host Dynamiters (3-1) the victory.

Burroughs (2-2) had taken a 21-20 lead with 1:09 to play when Ed Melgar caught a two-point conversion pass from Scott Boldvich following a four-yard touchdown run by Melgar. The score capped a seven-play, 67-yard drive.

Jose completed 12 of 25 passes for 213 yards for two touchdowns with two interceptions. Six completions were to Fuller for 125 yards.

Glendale’s Jay Register had nine carries for 76 yards and two touchdowns, caught two passes for 39 yards (including a 29-yard touchdown) and had a 63-yard punt return. Boldvich completed 10 of 17 for 120 yards and led his team on the ground with three carries for 52 yards.
