GARDEN GROVE : Child Safety to Be Discussed at Seminar
A seminar on child safety will be held Nov. 16 at Alamitos Intermediate School.
Titled “A Safe Environment for Your Child,” the free seminar will feature a panel discussion with school counselor Susan Real, Garden Grove police Officer Pat Julian, Alamitos Principal Kent Baird and parent Maria Acosta. The panel and small groups will discuss keeping children safe at school, at home and in the community.
Translators in Spanish and Vietnamese will be available.
The program, which begins at 7 p.m., is open to Alamitos parents and parents of sixth-graders at Bryant, Carver, Gilbert, Lawrence, Stanford, Wakeham and Zeyen elementary schools. Alamitos Intermediate School is at 12381 Dale Ave., Garden Grove.
