Share

Ventura College opened a re-entry center this month that will double as the campus women’s center.

The center is designed to help both male and female students who have been away from school adjust to the transition. A series of center workshops and discussions will focus on re-entering the education system, and the center will hold movie screenings and a children’s clothing swap. It will also sponsor a lending library.

The center will hold a workshop each Tuesday at noon. Today’s workshop is “The Re-Entry Experience.” The following week’s workshop will focus on eating disorders.
