WEEKEND TV : Trade Pact Dominates the News Shows

The North American Free Trade Agreement, a miniseries sequel, an anniversary and college football will highlight this weekend’s television choices.
Vice President Al Gore will discuss NAFTA again, this time with Rep. Richard Gephardt (D-Mo.), on “Face the Nation,” Sunday on CBS at 2 p.m. (Channel 2), midnight (Channel 8).
The long-awaited three-part, seven-hour sequel “Return to Lonesome Dove,” starring Jon Voight and Rick Schroder, begins Sunday night at 9 on CBS.
CBS’ popular newsmagazine “60 Minutes” celebrates its silver anniversary on “60 Minutes . . . 25 Years,” Sunday at 7 p.m.
And the game to decide who is No. 1 in college football kicks off Saturday at 10:30 a.m. between No. 1 Florida State and No. 2 Notre Dame from South Bend, Ind., on NBC.
