Scoring touchdowns after getting inside opponents’ 20-yard line has been a problem for the Raiders all season. Kicker Jeff Jaeger leads the team in scoring with 62 points, including 16 of 18 field goals. Tim Brown leads the team in touchdowns with four.

“Our production inside the red zone has been a big problem for us all year,” said Brown, who leads the team with 31 catches for 496 yards. “Once we get inside the 25, we have had trouble getting it in.

“It just comes down to determination. We just have to make it happen because no one will give it to us.”

In their 24-9 loss to the Kansas City on Oct. 3, the Raiders had problems matching up with the the Chiefs’ defense. After three days of practice in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs at the Coliseum, Coach Art Shell said the Raiders did a better job simulating the Chiefs’ defense.

“They gave us a good look on both sides of the ball,” Shell said. “We were able to get a good week of practice in.”

Kansas City has won seven of the last eight meetings, the only loss coming last year when the Raiders won, 28-7, at the Coliseum. . . .
