5.1 Quake Rattles Alaska

PALMER, Alaska —
A moderate earthquake shook south-central Alaska on Saturday, setting off alarms in the Anchorage area. No injuries or serious damage was reported. The Earthquake Information Service at Golden, Colo., measured the quake at magnitude 5.1. The epicenter was about 70 miles west of Homer.
