Lisa Stansfield’s album, originally due this month from Arista, has been bumped to April. Reportedly the label was very unhappy with the tracks and ordered extensive re-recording.

Paul Westerberg, who had to halt his tour after tearing a hip ligament during a Columbia, Mo., concert last month, will resume the tour on Wednesday in Boston and is scheduled for a guest shot Saturday on “Saturday Night Live.” Some of the West Coast dates he canceled, including the Hollywood Palladium, will be rescheduled beginning in late January.

Rumors about a Who reunion in late February at New York’s Carnegie Hall are off base. Actually, Who singer Roger Daltrey is hosting a two-night tribute to the group’s leader Pete Townshend, who is there strictly as an honoree. . . . Mary J. Blige is in the studio working on her second album, which is due in the spring. Unlike her million-selling debut, it will include some of her own compositions. Meanwhile, an album of her remixes is just out.

For last-minute shoppers: Jodeci’s second album, “Diary of a Mad Band,” comes out Dec. 21. . . . New Edition’s Ralph Tresvant has an album out the same day. . . . Rapper Vanilla Ice, in hibernation for two years, is gearing up to thaw out his ice-cold career with a new album due Feb. 22. He’s been working with a variety of producers, and the first single is reportedly a Cypress Hill-like tale about smoking pot.

A Jacksons greatest-hits album is due Jan. 18, featuring no new material. . . . The new album by ex-Journey singer Steve Perry is just about finished and will probably come out sometime in the first half of next year. He’s also assembling a band for a tour.
