OUTLOOK

The Flames are optimistic about their chances after suffering through a long 1992-93 season that saw them lose 20 of 23 games, half of which were lost by fewer than 10 points. Three starters return for Southern California Christian, including Josh Cameron, who was an all-league selection last season while averaging 19.9 points as a sophomore. His brother, J.T., is the coach and another brother, Eric, is an assistant coach for the Flames. Together, the Camerons say they can play the dark horse in the Arrowhead League and get this team into the playoffs with some good defense. To get that far, Southern California Christian will have to contend with La Sierra Academy and Sherman Indian. The Flames would like to keep their scores in the 50s and get a lot of motion on offense. With no player taller than 6-3, the Flames will try to get bigger teams to overplay on defense and get into foul trouble.
