GOLF ROUNDUP : Lehman Wins $250,000 in Japan
Tom Lehman made a one-foot birdie putt on the final hole Sunday for a one-shot victory over Phil Mickelson in the $1.4-million Casio World Open at Kaimoncho, Japan.
Lehman, who began the final round tied with Mickelson, shot a 69 in strong winds. He completed the four trips over the 7,014-yard, par-72 Kaimon Course of Ibusuki Golf Club in 274, 14 under par, and won $250,000.
Mickelson had a one-shot lead going to the last hole, but he made a bogey. He won $139,000.

Brad Faxon shot a two-under-par 70 to win the $575,000 Australian Open by two strokes at Melbourne.
Faxon completed the 72 holes at 13-under 275 and earned $102,500. Australians Jeff Woodland and Mike Clayton were second at the 6,948-yard Metropolitan course.
Clayton had a closing-round 66--with birdies on 17 and 18--and Woodland had a 70. Two Australians--Peter Senior and former PGA champion Wayne Grady--were another shot back.
Curtis Strange was at 285, with Raymond Floyd at 286.
