Share

A 45-year-old woman pleaded not guilty Wednesday to shooting up a Thousand Oaks neighborhood in a drunken rage two weeks ago.

Kathleen Ann Quinn of Thousand Oaks, who appeared in Ventura County Municipal Court, is charged with 19 counts ranging from shooting at inhabited houses to drunk driving in connection with the Dec. 12 incident.

Quinn, a messenger service saleswoman, was arrested on suspicion of shooting randomly at numerous cars and buildings, including occupied homes. No one was injured in the gunfire.

After spending 16 hours in the Ventura County Jail, Quinn was released and ordered to appear in court Dec. 17. Instead of showing up, however, she checked into Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Woodland Hills and was arrested after a judge issued a warrant for her.

A preliminary hearing to determine whether prosecutors have enough evidence to try her on the charges was set Jan. 7.
