Freshman Tina Thompson led four USC players in double figures with 12 points and the 10th-ranked Trojans scored seven consecutive points down the stretch to defeat Oregon, 47-45, Saturday night at Eugene, Ore.

After the Ducks’ Arianne Boyer missed a free throw, Nicky McCrimmon converted a three-point play to put the Trojans (9-1 overall, 2-0 in the Pacific 10 Conference) ahead for good, 43-41.

The Ducks are 7-4 and 1-1.

Oregon State has asked the Pac-10 to review what an assistant coach called “a blatant, premeditated and violent punch” thrown by USC’s Lisa Leslie at Kristina Lelas during Thursday night’s game against the Beavers.
