From Staff and Wire Reports

Tennessee quarterback Heath Shuler, saying it was his dream to play pro football since he was 10 years old, will give up his senior year of eligibility to make himself available for the NFL draft.

Indiana flanker Thomas Lewis, who caught 55 passes for 1,058 yards and seven touchdowns this season, and former UCLA nose guard Bruce Walker, who did not play this season but has one more year of college eligibility, also said they would give up their senior seasons.

Walker was suspended this season by UCLA after pleading no contest to a charge of receiving stolen property that was traced to a campus dormitory.
