The Houston Rockets rejected a trade for Sean Elliott because the Detroit forward has a lingering kidney infection, the player’s agent said.
The Rockets had 48 hours to cancel Friday’s deal that sent Robert Horry and Matt Bullard to the Pistons. And the Rockets did just that Sunday because team doctors weren’t convinced Elliott’s condition was acceptable.
