Ted Williams Reported Fair After Stroke
Hall of Famer Ted Williams had a minor stroke at his home during the weekend that weakened his vision and the left side of his body, a hospital spokesman said Monday.
Williams, 75, was in fair condition at Shands Hospital, where he was treated two years ago after a mild stroke.
“I was just down talking to him and he’s very awake and alert,” a hospital spokesman said. “He is in fair condition. He is doing well for someone who’s had a stroke. All his indicators are favorable for recovery.”
