MISSION VIEJO : Meeting to Focus on Dial-A-Ride Changes
Changes for the Dial-A-Ride program in South County, which may include phasing out the service for elderly persons, will be discussed at a public meeting on March 7.
The Orange County Transit Authority, operators of the county bus system and the Dial-A-Ride program, is looking for input from the community on this and several other changes that will take place in 1994.
The meeting will take place at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Oso Viejo, at 12:30 p.m.
Seniors who do not qualify for special transportation services would have to take the bus, said senior center officials. Anyone not able to attend the public session can contact the transit authority at (800) 564-4ADA.
