O.C. California Learning Assessment System Scores : District Rankings
The new California Learning Assessment System tests in reading, writing and math were given to fourth-, eighth- and 10th-graders for the first time last spring. They were scored against objective achievement standards on a six-level scale, with six being the best score. Students’ results were not reported individually. Rather, the scores were tabulated by school and district. The results are given as percentages of students who scored at each of the six levels. The following rankings were created by combining the percentages of students scoring in the top three levels on all three tests.
