OC HIGH: STUDENT NEWS & VIEWS : ‘Express Yourself’
Don’t forget Youth Arts Day, “Express Yourself,” for high school students from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Irvine Youth Services Center.
There will be a poetry reading and workshop, a collaborative mural and a chalk art demonstration and workshop. Entertainment will include traditional Chinese dance, a Guitar Extravaganza, a performance by the band A Boy and His Kite and a scene from Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman.”
Admission is $3 and includes all entertainment, workshops and refreshments. The youth center is in Irvine’s Heritage Park, at Walnut and Yale avenues.
