Last, the Leases: Mallinckrodt Medical, a specialty medical company based in St. Louis, has leased a 109,000-square-foot industrial building in Irvine for an undisclosed amount, according to Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate Services. . . . In a $4.3-million, four-year deal, American Sterling, an insurance company based in Irvine, has leased 59,300 square feet of research and industrial space in the Irvine Spectrum. The building, located at 9800 Muirlands Blvd., will be the company’s new headquarters.
