3 Wounded in Gang Shooting at Park
Three people were wounded Friday night after a gang shooting at a neighborhood park south of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
A group of teen-agers was at the park near 47th Street and Budlong Avenue when several other youths walked by and confronted them, police said. The arriving youths shouted a gang slogan and then opened fire with handguns, police said. The suspects fled before police arrived.
The victims suffered wounds to their legs and buttocks, police said, and were taken to a hospital.
