Police Looking for Brain-Injured Man
Police are searching for a 57-year-old, brain-injured man who walked away from a Laguna Hills board and care facility Sunday night. The man, John K. Sorensen, was injured in a 1991 auto accident.
Sorensen is 6-foot-1, weighs about 180 pounds and walks with a limp, according to Lt. Dan Martini of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. He has blue eyes and gray hair, worn in a crew cut.
Sorensen has no money or identification and was last seen wearing jeans, a short-sleeved checkered polo shirt, a white or blue sweat shirt and white athletic shoes, Martini said. He is a quiet man who has trouble answering complex questions, but will probably respond if asked if his name is John Sorensen.
