Dayton Hudson Chairman to Resign: Kenneth Macke, Dayton Hudson’s chairman and chief executive, said he will step down in July. Robert Ulrich, head of the Target stores division, takes over as CEO immediately and will become chairman in July, the company said. Analysts said they do not think the action implies any change in corporate strategy and said there is no indication that the 55-year-old Macke was pushed out. Target, which Ulrich headed since 1987, has become the company’s fastest-growing division.
