Church to Celebrate Its Centennial

The Interfaith Peace Ministry of Orange County will conduct its annual meeting and dinner on Sunday at Chapman University in Orange. In support of the United Nations 1994 International Year of the Family, the guest speaker will be family therapist Delores Wardell discussing “Building a Family Friendly Community.”
The Paul Delp Peace Award will be presented to poet and activist Mitsuye Yamada. Yamada is a board member for Amnesty International, founder of the Multi-Cultural Women Writers and former chairperson of the Human Rights Commission in Irvine.
The meeting is from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Room 209 of the Argyros building , 333 N. Glassell St. The dinner is $15. For reservations, call the Interfaith Ministry at (714) 771-2901.
