B.J. Armstrong’s three-point basket with 4.5 seconds to play gave the Chicago Bulls an 88-85 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night at Charlotte, N.C., putting a serious dent in the Hornets’ postseason hopes.

“Sometimes you make them, sometimes you don’t,” Armstrong said of his game-winning shot. “This just happened to be a game where I made one. I just happened to be at the right place at the right time.”

The victory was the Bulls’ 10th in a row, matching a season-high winning streak for Chicago.
