GARDEN GROVE : Storm Drain Work Starts on Trask Ave.
Work began this week on a $980,000 project to install storm drains along Trask Avenue between Harbor Boulevard and Fairview Street, city officials said.
Bill Patapoff of the Development Services Department said the project is intended to prevent flooding at Trask Avenue and Ranchero Place.
Patapoff said traffic and parking will be restricted during construction, but there will be access to residents and business in the area. At least one lane in each direction will be open at all times, he said.
Construction hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The project is expected to be completed in October, Patapoff said.
