Streisand Cancels Show Due to Illness

Entertainer Barbra Streisand canceled the first Southern California appearance of her first concert tour in 28 years because she is suffering from laryngitis, her publicist said late Tuesday.

The concert, scheduled tonight at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, will be postponed or canceled, said Dick Guttman. He said an announcement will be made Thursday on how ticket-holders can have their money refunded, if the show is not rescheduled.

“It will be up to the doctors on whether she can hold her next concert,” scheduled Friday in Anaheim, Guttman said.
