Most World Cup press officers work in public relations for teams in other sports, and they were surprised when Holland’s coach, Dick Advocaat, refused to talk to reporters only two days before Monday’s playoff game against Ireland.

“I can get my coach to talk. Sometimes,” press officer Harvey Greene said.

Greene’s coach? Don Shula. Greene is media relations director for the Miami Dolphins.
