Guillermo Canedo of Mexico, chairman of FIFA’s World Cup organizing committee, had nothing but praise for this World Cup.
“I am sure that this organization has surpassed all previous World Cup results,” he said.
Deserved praise, perhaps, but for the record, FIFA says that at every World Cup. Especially when the hosts are in the same room.
