LAKE VIEW TERRACE : Paxton Street Will Undergo Resurfacing
Traffic on Paxton Street from west of the Foothill Freeway to west of Lopez Canyon Road may slow considerably during daytime working hours for two weeks in September.
A project to resurface the existing roadway in an unincorporated area near Lake View Terrace will start at the beginning of the month and is expected to take 10 working days to complete, according to Los Angeles County Supervisor Ed Edelman’s office.
The project will be performed under a $57,258 contract awarded by the county to Boral Resources Inc. of Pomona. A portion of the money will be reimbursed by the state under a program that administers grants to local agencies for public road improvements.
“These improvements will increase safety, reduce maintenance costs and extend the service life of these roads,” Edelman said.
