LAGUNA BEACH : Feinstein to Attend Residents’ Meeting
Sen. Dianne Feinstein will meet with Laguna Beach residents Sunday to talk about what is happening in the nation’s capital and how those activities may affect local residents.
The meeting, arranged by City Councilwoman Lida Lenney, will be at Tivoli Terrace Restaurant on the Festival of Arts grounds from 10 to 11 a.m. Breakfast will be available for $9.
Feinstein, a Democrat, is running for reelection against Republican Michael Huffington.
A statement released by City Manager Kenneth C. Frank’s office Wednesday said the gathering is not a political fund-raiser but simply a chance for residents “to learn more about actions taking place in Washington that would affect our daily lives.”
