Outfielder Rickey Henderson of the Oakland Athletics denies claims by his half-sister that he repeatedly raped her as a youth. In a lawsuit filed Thursday in Alameda County Superior Court, Paula Henderson, 31, alleges that the sexual assaults started when she was 8 and continued into her teens. The suit alleges that suppressed her memories of abuse until about a year ago when she gave birth to her first child. Rickey Henderson, 35, issued a statement Friday calling the allegations “totally untrue.”
