Salsa Ends Skid With 2-1 Victory
The visiting Salsa was able to halt its two-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over the Toronto Rockets Friday at Centennial Stadium.
Paul Wright put the Salsa ahead by scoring 38 minutes in the game after taking a pass from Lawrence Lozzano, who returned to the lineup after a one-game suspension. Reserve player Brad Smith scored the second Salsa goal at the 85-minute mark. Toronto (2-6) got on the board on Gino DiFlorio’s unassisted goal.
