PACOIMA : Palmdale Man, 20, Found Fatally Shot
Los Angeles police on Monday were investigating the shooting death of a 20-year-old Palmdale man whose body was found in the back yard of a Pacoima house.
Joseph Alexander Jones died of a gunshot wound to the head, Sgt. Frank Reynoso said.
His body was found about 1:50 a.m. Monday behind a house in the 11000 block of DeFoe Avenue.
Reynoso said the death was reported as a suicide, but that detectives were looking into it because of apparently inconsistent evidence at the scene.
No one had been arrested in connection with the death Monday.
