PALOS VERDES ESTATES : Phone Survey’s Aim Is to Improve Library
- Share via
Palos Verdes Estates residents will talk libraries this week, when a telephone survey on how to improve the Malaga Cove Library is scheduled to begin.
Through Aug. 13, the Malaga Cove Library Neighborhood Planning Committee plans to call 150 library users and 100 non-users, said Dwyn Robbie, who is overseeing the survey.
Among the 20 questions the committee will ask is “What do you like best about going to the Malaga Cove Library?” Questionnaires will also be available at the library, Robbie said.
Robbie, who is also a member of the watchdog group Save Our Libraries, hopes the survey will uncover ways to improve library attendance so Palos Verdes Library District trustees do not shut down Malaga Cove Library or cut its budget.
The library committee plans to release the survey results early in September, Robbie said.
