BRIEFLY : Transportation: MTA Names Chief Administrator
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has named a new chief administrative officer.
Judith Pierce, an attorney and assistant general manager for rail operations at the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority in Philadelphia, will join Los Angeles’ mass transit agency in September.
Pierce, 50, a 12-year veteran of transit management, will be responsible for administrative and finance functions at the MTA. She will be paid $138,000 annually.
She replaces Alan Pegg, who had resigned for personal reasons.
