CBS Announces 5-for-1 Stock Split: The company said it will achieve the split by paying a stock dividend of four new shares on each share of CBS Inc. common stock. The move will bring the stock within reach of smaller investors. Wall Street cheered the move, as CBS stock closed at $343, up $5.25 on the NYSE.
