SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Mission to Ring With Gregorian Chants
Schola Pacifica, a men’s chorus specializing in Gregorian chants, will perform in concert tonight at Mission San Juan Capistrano.
The San Diego-based group is part of the mission’s summer series of concerts under the stars. The show starts at 6 p.m.
The group, which is not tied to any church sponsorship, includes members who are Catholic, Protestant and Jewish. The group has recorded a compact disc that is selling in national music stores.
Tickets for the concert are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children 12 and under. Dinners are available for sale at the mission or concert goers may bring their own meals.
Limited seating is provided. People are encouraged to bring folding chairs.
