‘The Crimson Thread’

I was astounded to read Laurie Winer’s disparaging review of “The Crimson Thread” (“ ‘Crimson Thread’ a Familiar Family Tale,” Sept. 20). After seeing the play and the enormous impact it had on the audience (who gave it a standing ovation), I can only surmise that Winer is drastically out of touch with the theatergoing public.
