LOS ALAMITOS : BCR Town Jewel Heads Field

BCR Town Jewel, an Idaho-bred gelding who formerly raced in Wyoming and Idaho, heads the field for tonight’s $230,000 PCQHRA Breeders Futurity at Los Alamitos.

BCR Town Jewel made his first California start for trainer Blane Schvaneveldt in the PCQHRA Breeders Futurity trials, covering the 350 yards in 17.55 seconds, 0.20 seconds faster than the second qualifier.

BCR Town Jewel will face the second-fastest qualifier, Pick Sixer, along with Skirt Chasin Alibi, the Dutch Masters III entry of Coast Express and Marys Moo Vin First, Alibis Assets, Malibu Handicap winner Avisome, Dashin Dual, Dicey Secret and FB Moon.
