BURBANK : Street Work Will Alter Traffic Flow
Motorists and pedestrians, take note. Street improvements scheduled to begin Monday ean weekday traffic will be restricted to one way on East Palm Avenue between San Fernando Boulevard and North 1st Street until Nov. 21. Traffic will run both ways on weekends.
The improvements include widening the sidewalk area near the A.M.C. Theater, installation of railings, wheelchair access ramps and pavement reconstruction.
The work will be conducted by the city of Burbank and its contractor, Vido Samarzich Inc.
Property owners in the affected area have already been notified of the work, officials said.
