Sheriff’s investigators have arrested another suspect in connection with a fatal shooting at a Laundromat earlier this year.

Ralph Mac Taula, 24, a transient, was arrested in the killing of Efrain Lobiono Rojas, 20, on May 23, according to Lt. Dan Martini.

Rojas, 20, bleeding from wounds, was found on the floor of a Laundromat in the 8900 block of Pacific Street about 9:30 p.m., police said. He died early the next morning.

Homicide detectives learned that the shooting was a result of a gang confrontation, Martini said.

Police were led to Taula by Paul Siliga, 22, who was arrested on May 25 for having a firearm, a violation of his parole, Martini said. Siliga was later taken to Avenal State Prison in Kings County.

Investigators believed that Siliga was responsible for the shooting, and later identified Taula as a second suspect.

The Orange County district attorney’s office filed murder complaints against both Siliga and Taula early this week, leading to Taula’s arrest. Taula is being held in the Orange County Jail on $250,000 bail, Martini said.
