LOS ALAMITOS : 7 Council Candidates to Attend Gathering
The seven candidates vying for the three seats on the City Council will appear at a forum Wednesday at the Los Alamitos Community Center.
The forum, sponsored by the Los Alamitos Chamber of Commerce, will give people an opportunity to hear the candidates’ views on issues for the Nov. 8 election. It will start at 7 p.m.
The candidates are incumbents Alice B. Jempsa and Robert P. Wahlstrom; auditor Victor D’ Agostino; business owner Frank Varnum; accountant Kevin McKinney; tax consultant Marilyn M. Poe, and management consultant Timothy A. Harris.
Chamber of Commerce President George Briggeman will be the moderator.
The community center is at 10911 Oak St.
