DIAMOND BAR: A Diamond Bar jeweler was robbed in his driveway Friday after three men apparently followed him home. The jeweler, whose name was not released, was robbed at gunpoint about 7 p.m., sheriff’s deputies said. The suspects, who are still at large, escaped with more than $10,000 in cash and an undisclosed amount of jewelry.

POMONA: Seven Pomona residents, including three juveniles, were arrested Oct. 6 when police conducted a probation sweep at various locations in the city. The sweep targeted the residences of alleged gang members. Other men associating with the targeted probationers were taken into custody for various offenses. All suspects were booked at Pomona City Jail. The juveniles were taken to Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall.

POMONA: A 36-year-old Pomona man wanted on a warrant for attempted murder in connection with a Sept. 18 shooting in the 900 block of Bradford Street was arrested Monday. Scott Holland was arrested about 3:30 p.m. after he led police from Pomona, Ontario, Upland and Claremont on a chase through their cities. Ontario police took Holland into custody and Pomona police booked him into the Los Angeles County Jail Medical Ward.

SOUTH PASADENA: Several car burglaries were reported between 10 p.m. Monday and 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said. The burglars smashed car windows to steal items from four cars, including stereo equipment, binoculars and a camera, police said. Police believe that the thefts are related.

TEMPLE CITY: A 31-year-old Temple City man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of murder after authorities found his girlfriend’s body in the couple’s home in the 6200 block of Loma Avenue. Dino Ferrari is being held without bail at the Temple City sheriff’s station, deputies said. At about 2:40 p.m., Ferrari called a friend and said he was having trouble reviving his girlfriend, Sheila G. Van Landuyt, 23. After the friend arrived, the two called paramedics and Ferrari told the 911 operator that he and his girlfriend had been engaging in rough sex and that she had stopped breathing, sheriff’s deputies said. The coroner’s office will determine the cause of death.
