Carson to Represent Cities on LAFCO
Ventura City Councilman Gregory L. Carson has been appointed a city representative to the Local Agency Formation Commission, a state planning agency that oversees annexation issues, officials said.
LAFCO has two regular city representatives and one alternate. Carson has served as the alternate for the last six months, and will now become a regular representative with the retirement of Thousand Oaks Mayor Alex Fiore.
The other regular city representative is Ojai City Councilman Robert McKinney. The new alternate is Moorpark City Councilman Bernardo Perez.
