Bell 27, Locke 18--Locke running back Sirr Parker rushed for 162 yards in 24 carries and scored twice, but it was not enough as Locke lost a Southeastern Conference game.
Bell built a 20-0 halftime lead behind the running of senior Vern Benard, who had 23 carries for 197 yards and a touchdown.
Bell’s Gustavo Valenzuela, the area’s second-leading passer, completed six of 13 passes for 48 yards and a touchdown.
