GARDEN GROVE : Donated Toys Sought for Holiday Benefit
The Pacifica High School senior class is seeking donated toys for its annual “adopt-a-child” program benefiting local elementary school children.
The toy drive, which begins today, will run through Thursday. Toys should be unwrapped, cost no more than $5 and be intended for a child between the ages of 5 and 8, said school district spokesman Alan Trudell.
Under the “adopt-a-child” program, kindergarten and disabled students from Clinton-Mendenhall Elementary School are invited to a holiday party thrown by the Pacifica senior class. This year, the event will be Dec. 14, Trudell said.
Donations may be dropped off on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the school’s attendance office, 6851 Lampson Ave.
