Hanaway finished with 154 yards in 24 carries, including 103 in the second half. He also caught three passes for 20 yards and a touchdown.

Savanna (8-3) hurt itself with three turnovers, and committed two crucial errors on special teams in the first half.

After Hanaway caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Brian Wilson to give El Toro a 14-10 lead in the second quarter, Savanna’s Mike Flores fumbled the ensuing kickoff, and Jeremy Jarrett recovered for El Toro.

Three plays later, Joe Ader scored on a one-yard run to give El Toro a 21-10 lead.

After stopping Savanna on its next possession, the Chargers’ Mark Gates blocked a punt and Jarrett returned it 15 yards to the Rebel one-yard line. Wilson then scored on a one-yard run.
