First Toy of Holiday Drive Is Donated
The first toy has been donated to the monthlong Conejo Valley Toys for Tots Christmas drive at a gathering last week of the campaign’s two sponsors, the Conejo Valley Assn. of Realtors and the U.S. Marines. Spokesman Brent Davis said the drive will continue until Dec. 15. The toys will be distributed to needy children throughout the Conejo Valley through local social service agencies.
Anyone wishing to make a donation can drop off toys or games at any real estate office in the Conejo Valley, he said.
The Toys for Tots campaign began in 1947 and has distributed millions of toys to children since then, Davis said.
