VENTURA : Woman Dies When Car Skids Off Road
A 79-year-old Santa Paula woman was killed instantly Wednesday when her car skidded off Foothill Road and overturned, said county Deputy Coroner Craig Stevens.
Wilma Elizabeth Force was the only person involved in the 10:45 a.m. accident, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Officers found Force inside her car, which crashed near Wheeler Canyon Road, northeast of Ventura. Authorities said they did not know what caused her to drive off the road.
